During my regular fitness routine these days I observed increase in the number of people following this fitness routine, mainly walking. Here I got a doubt whether they have been inspired by their fitness guru's or by the Idea Ad which campaigns WALK WHILE YOU TALK. Though the Idea's idea was pretty good, I see most of fitness followers misunderstood that and they are actually following the other way around, which is, TALKING WHILE THEY DO THE WALKING.
For all these people I would like to remind that the walking fitness is not only for your physical well being but also for your mental wellbeing. 6 hours of walk a day not only keeps the doctor away but also rejuvenates our body both physically and mentally; provided we follow it in proper way.
Any fitness routine that we are following must be done with a conscious effort. The time we take out for our fitness is the time we should be taking out personally for ourselves brushing away all our professional and personally interferences aside and focusing on the theme, that is bring harmony to ourselves, both physically and mentally. During this time we should make a conscious effort that we should not be disturbed by any means. A disturbance does not only mean mobiles but only some keep talking to their friends. The mobile should be carried only in case we have to reach out to others for our specific requirement during this time and not for other to reach us. So I suggest not carrying any mobiles during our fitness routines or switching off till that fixed amount of time, giving ourselves the much required quality time.
To conclude, a person who cannot effort that hour(s) of personal fitness time space for him is not doing any justice for his body by actually spending that time, especially during this era of stressful life.
